Nominations are now open to join our Directors who serve on our Trustee Board. Joining the WES Board is a fantastic opportunity to have a say in the running of your membership organisation and is a great way to gain skills and knowledge to enhance your career as well as support others within the industry.
Along with the President, the Directors of the Board are Directors and Trustees of WES and as such are responsible for important areas of WES’ remit.
Getting on the Board
You need to be a WES Member and have paid all your subscriptions due on or before the 13 September 2024. A WES Member can be a Student, Member or Fellow or an Associate. You cannot nominate yourself. You must fill in the Nomination Form and sign it and you need to get three WES Members who have also paid all their subscriptions to sign the form.

Nominations must therefore be received on or before 23:59 BST on 13 September 2024. If more than one candidate is nominated for any position, an election will be held by ballot of all WES Members beginning on the 5 October 2024 and closing on 19 October 2024, seven days in advance of the AGM on the 26 October 2024. Members will be sent a link to vote in the election, if necessary, after the close of nominations.
