Womens Engineering Society: Inspiring women as engineers, scientists and technical leaders

The WES Network

The WES Network

WES regional activity is organised through a network of Circles and Clusters run by WES members throughout the UK.

Circles are groups of members who get together for social events and technical visits.

Clusters are communication groups sharing information about events and calls for speakers in schools. These are developing and regional events are emerging. Clusters exist in the following areas:

East Anglia: eastanglia@wes.org.uk

Devon and Cornwall: devonandcornwall@wes.org.uk

Cumbria: Cumbria@wes.org.uk

Daphnet The mailing list for and about women in science, engineering and technology, including women returning to paid work after a career break. Great for advice and discussion.

Industry Groups

At WES conference 2009 there is a networking session, sponsored by BP, that will discuss connecting networks by industry sector to inform the WES development strategy. All diversity and inclusion leads and women's network members in public or private sector organisations are welcome. Connecting Networks Workshop Flyer.
