WES needs your help to build on the amazing things we are doing and relationships we are developing this year:

Application writing experience for grants, projects and capacity building

We need to apply for funding to various bodies such as Nominet and EHRC to capacity build our website and its community and our infrastructure to appoint a CEO. We need £100K per year to get the right person and have some budget to facilitate change.

Legal experience/UK or European

We need some legal input and advice / expertise, especially in the area of state aid and intellectual property.

Project Managers and completer finishers wanted

With on-going projects and potential to develop more we need project management expertise to either simply take on a project and make it happen, or to oversee a contractor to do so.

Events/ Marketing

WES has a PR support but only for 3 days a month. Do you have some marketing expertise you can bring to the Society?

Do you enjoy organising events and connecting people? There is plenty of scope for you to practice! Writing skills to help source, edit or write material for our website

Business Development/knowledge of legal instruments and operation

Several opportunities are coming our way for developing income streams, we need greater expertise and time to make them happen. So if you have experience of writing business plans and organising partnership contracts and agreements do get in touch.

Officer Roles

We have forthcoming vacancies for Membership Officer, Hon Secretary, Vice Presidents, Student Groups Co-ordinator and helping with stakeholder engagement – this can help add to your CV or raise your profile and personal network.
