Job description

CLOSING DATE: 31 MARCH 2017

Imperial College London is a science-based university with an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. Central to our success and ability to innovate are our talented technicians, who provide solutions to engineering problems and vital technical support. That’s why we’ve developed a Technician Apprenticeship Scheme - to train the future technicians who go on to work in our world-class workshops and laboratories.

Our technician apprentices specialise in either Mechanical or Electronic Engineering and combine their studies with on-the-job training across a range of our busy workshops. As well as earning a competitive salary, you will build a wide range of technical skills and gain formal qualifications that will help you in your future career.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an interest in engineering. Applicants will need (or expect to gain) grade 9 – 6 (A*-B) at GCSE in Maths, English and Science or Design and Technology. No prior work experience is required.
