Inspiring Women 
Panel & Speed Networking at the British Science Festival 
Venue: University of Surrey, Guildford

Meet five inspiring women with diverse experiences working in and with technology. Hear what inspires them, makes them laugh and spurs them on to be more creative, tackling the challenges we face in society. And afterwards, pick up some useful networking tips and then practice them in a fun filled speed networking session before relaxing with a drink and nibbles.

Technical Leaders Events 2008
Venue:  The IET, Savoy Place, London

The second in the Technical Leaders series. The Chair for the evening was Mary Harris, previous WES President and currently Director of the National Grid’s Young Offenders Programme. Speaker was Mandy Chessell, IBM Distinguished Engineer, Master Inventor and member of the IBM Academy of Technology. Currently lead architect for Master Data Solutions in IBM’s Software Group, who spoke on ‘Model Driven Development’.
