WES makes two types of Awards annually - The Lady Finniston Awards and The Karen Burt Memorial Award.

In Scotland the Doris Gray Award provides scholarships, bursaries and project enabling grants.

The Gillian Skinner Award recgonises "behind the scenes" contributions to WES by members.

WES supports the IET Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award by presenting the Women's Engineering Society Prize to the runner up to honour young female talent in engineering.
